About the congress
Dr.Michael Solomonov
For more than 20 years I have been conducting courses, lectures and seminars on endodontics. I actively participate, both as a speaker and as a participant, in International congresses and symposia. I pay great attention to the study of classical and modern scientific literature and the analysis of what is happening in the forefront of the world of endodontics. From the very beginning of my journey in endodontics, I made my choice: I am a thinker, not a technician. I built my clinical practice on the basis of modern knowledge and the understanding of biological and biomechanical processes, to obtain the most precise result, and not just to produce a beautiful two-dimensional X-ray.

During my years of teaching, I mentored a great number of wonderful forward-thinking doctors who know what they are doing and what they want to achieve – to become thinkers rather than technicians. I contentedly follow their successes: they have become excellent clinicians, researchers and lecturers. They demonstrate excellent sense for critical analysis, which is a sign of someone who is truly intelligent. They are a living proof that the way I do things is the right way!
Unfortunately, my vision of the profession is clearly not on trend of the world's leading dental business: Drill, Fill, Bill - that's where a huge number of manufacturing companies are striving to reach. In the course of my international activities, I personally met with many excellent scientists and practitioners in the world of endodontics who share my ideas and beliefs. This led me to the decision of creating an independent congress on endodontics.
The idea of this congress is to provide an independent stage to most prominent and renowned specialists with global reputation, while avoiding the commercial encumbrance of the sponsorship of manufacturing corporations, and thus to create an opportunity for the speakers and participants to share their knowledge in a neutral environment. I want to give you the opportunity to enjoy intellectual independent endodontics, and would love to see you join this event.

An Affiliate Professor of Endodontics at the University of Washington. President of the International Association of Dental Traumatology. He is the former head of the division of Endodontics and Multidisciplinary Traumatology under the faculty of Dentistry in the Center for Pediatric Odontology, and another institution, where he was a Director in the past, at Seattle Children's hospital. Published more than 85 peer-reviewed articles, 10 textbook chapters and a book on Disinfection in Endodontics.

Dr Eleftherios-Terry R. Prof. Zvi Metzger
Prof. Zvi Metzger graduated from the Hebrew University School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem in 1970. Since 1973 he has been on the faculty at the Tel Aviv University School of Dental Medicine, where he served as Dean in the years 1987-1991. Prof. Metzger was Chairman of the National Board of Endodontics in Israel and Chairman of the Israeli Endodontic Society (2000-2002). Hewasan Associate Professor of Oral Biology and Professor of Endodontologyat Tel Aviv University.
Prof. Metzger was a visiting fellow at the National Institute of Dental Research, NIH, Maryland (1978-1981) and a visiting professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1995-1996). He served as Director of Research Laboratories (1981-2009) and more recently (2008-2012) as Chairman of the Department of Endodontology at the School of Dental Medicine at Tel Aviv university, where he serves now as Professor Emeritus. He retains a private endodontic practice in Tel Aviv.
