Course benefits/Highlights

b. Become familiar with dento-alveolar traumatic injuries and their complications.
c. Be able to diagnose and treat post-traumatic root resorptions.
d. Learn effective strategies for preservation and augmentation of alveolar ridge augmentation toward final prosthetic rehabilitation.
e. Apply preventive measures.
f. Learn when, where and what to refer.

Pulp necrosis and root resorption are the most common complications are. Treatment is often complex, time consuming, expensive and requires a multidisciplinary approach such as endodontic and periodontal treatments, surgery, orthodontic movements as well as esthetic coronal restoration.
